Meet our expert panel!

At Manigrip, it is important to us that we have a finger on the pulse of what you need in your daily life. That is why we have allied ourselves with a permanent expert panel who can help us test that our product is always relevant to you.

“The idea of our expert panel is based on the fact that we know that we do not have the insights ourselves. We therefore have an expert panel to have a direct link to our users and to get sharp insights from those who use our product in their everyday lives”

Thomas Solgaard, Manigrip.

But who is this panel of experts?

Meet Charlotte Secher Jensen

“I am on Manigrip's expert panel because I think there are a lot of aids that have never been in the hands of, for example, an arthritis patient and have been properly tested”

– Charlotte Secher Jensen, expert

Charlotte was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in her early 20s, as doctors had not yet found what the problem was. Charlotte also has fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis.

Charlotte has a flexible job as an octopus and accounting assistant in a small company. Charlotte lives with her two dogs and her husband, with whom she has two children.

Charlotte spends her free time writing, and she is good at it. In 2015, she won EULAR's Edgar Stene Essay Competition, with an essay about the encounter between doctor and patient.

Charlotte is active in the arthritis association GAF in Silkeborg and is co-administrator of the Facebook group "Arthritis/Disabilities – Inspiration and support for exercise".

Meet Lisbeth Oxholm Snede

“I am on Manigrip's expert panel because I think that assistive devices should be an accessory instead of a disability tool”

– Lisbeth Oxholm Snede, Expert

Lisbeth had her first gout attack when she was 20 years old and heavily pregnant. She is also affected by gout complications.

Lisbeth lives with her husband, who is also the father of their children. She enjoys going for walks in her local area and learning new things.

Lisbeth works as an independent consultant and blogger at her own blog, Lisbeth Snede, formerly Livet med Gigt, and Leddegigtportalen. She has previously worked as a consultant for Region Midt, where her main focus has been patient involvement and the importance it has for patients in everyday life. She has also been employed as a consultant for private companies, where she has provided tools and guidance in relation to having employees living with chronic illness.

Lisbeth has helped to found GAF and the nonprofit organization Patient in Focus, of which she is co-director and co-chairwoman.
